DESCRIPTION:Come and join our talented Talisman members and local performers. Enjoy a fusion of light-hearted entertainment from short plays\, improv\, local bands and singers which always promises an enjoyable evening.\nLaunched in 2022 these events have proven to be very popular in providing experienced and new directors the opportunity to explore some alternative plays as well as showcasing local emerging talent as well as established performers. \nAll acts are performed at 7:30pm and then repeated again at 9pm. The 7:30pm performance is always very popular so prior booking is advised for the earlier session to guarantee a seat. You can just walk in and pay on the door\, but if we are at capacity for the earlier slot you may need to grab yourself a drink from the bar and join us later at 9pm!

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Talisman School of Wizardry and Witchcraft. It has been a difficult term so far\, the Head Prefect has dishonoured the school\, the Headmaster appears to be losing the plot and the local school inspector is breathing down everyone’s necks. When one of the teachers turns up dead\, things couldn’t possibly get any worse. Can you figure out whodunnit and bring order back to the classrooms once again?  \n*Please note that this production will include elements that require the use of a smartphone to help you solve the murder\, so please make sure that someone in your group has one on the night you can use. \nFor those who haven’t been to one of these events before\, here’s some helpful information to note before you book:- \nInteractive Event \nAs this event is fully interactive\, not only will you witness some scenes played out on the stage by our suspects\, but you’ll also be able to question them\, examine documentary evidence and make notes before you submit who you believe the murderer to be. \nThis means that\, at several points during the evening\, you’ll be invited to move around the auditorium and the foyer to conduct your investigation. \nIf you’re coming along with friends or a family group\, please get them together before you enter the auditorium and you’ll be shown to your seats by a member of our team once the doors are open. If you have any specific seating requirements please call the box office or let us know upon arrival and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. \nYou/your team will be provided with pens and notebooks so no need to bring any with you.
