The Talisman Theatre and Arts Centre has an active and talented volunteer membership who have been Putting the Arts at the Heart of our Community for over 80 years.
Our theatre in Kenilworth, Warwickshire delivers an abundance of local shows and entertainment all year round. Annually, we host nine main stage productions, ranging from the classics, comedy, musicals, thrillers, mysteries, and of course our fun-filled family pantomime.
We also have a vibrant youth theatre, regular cinema, and Fringe theatre nights (at the Kenilworth Holiday Inn) – so check out what’s on as there really is something for everyone.

Sue Randall as Charity is fabulous throughout, the songs and the comedy so well-judged and the timing immaculate.

The Talisman thoroughly deserves this third sell out production in a row. It is a pity there are not longer runs for some of these especially popular productions.

The Director, David Draper certainly does justice to the excellent scripts and the sets and costumes are extremely authentic with atmospheric morale raising songs accompanying the slick scene changes.
Blackadder Goes Forth
The key to good farce lies in increasing the pace as the chaos mounts and then finding extra, improbable gears to take the tempo higher. In the capable hands of director Steve Smith the performance puts the foot down right from the start and never lets the speedometer drop below flat out.
Don't Dress for Dinner
The pace of this comedy is perfectly executed, the delivery of the lines could not have been better, the action, the facial expressions, the desperation of the characters as the plot thickens, as the web of excuses gets more and more tangled, as lie follows lie and the characters scramble for the next excuse – it’s all just wonderful.

There was humour, particularly from Fay, whose comic timing, engagement with the audience and portrayal of Phyllis was excellent.

Alistair’s performance was for me the best performance I have seen in am-dram in, well, a decade. This production was better than the film.
