Talisman Fringe
Talisman Fringe
The Talisman Fringe performs on the first Thursday of the month at the Holiday Inn, Kenilworth.
Come and join our talented Talisman members and local performers. Enjoy a fusion of light-hearted entertainment from short plays, improv, local bands and singers which always promises an enjoyable evening.
Launched in 2022 these events have proven to be very popular in providing experienced and new directors the opportunity to explore some alternative plays as well as showcasing local emerging talent as well as established performers.
All acts are performed at 7:30pm and then repeated again at 9pm. The 7:30pm performance is always very popular so prior booking is advised for the earlier session to guarantee a seat. You can just walk in and pay on the door, but if we are at capacity for the earlier slot you may need to grab yourself a drink from the bar and join us later at 9pm!
The Talisman Fringe performs every month aside from our winter and summer breaks in January and July.
See below for the latest information and dates so you can come and join in the fun!

🎭 MAY FRINGE: A FRENCH CONNECTION
📅 Thursday 7th May 2026
📍 Holiday Inn, Kenilworth
🕢 Performances at 7:30pm and 9:00pm
Join us for a stylish and entertaining evening celebrating all things French at our May Fringe!
This special event brings together drama, music, and poetry, with every piece either performed in French, translated from French, or set in France – a true French Connection.
The evening features two engaging dramatic works:
- A lively translation from La Bourgeois Gentilhomme, where a would-be influencer enlists the help of her music and dance tutors in a bid to break into the big leagues – with predictably comic results.
- “Elegy” by Julien Rosa, an original and thought-provoking piece set in Paris. When two English strangers meet in a bar, a simple conversation reveals unexpected connections that run deeper than nationality.
Alongside the drama, enjoy a curated selection of music and poetry, plus a fun and interactive French-themed quiz for the audience.
Whether you’re a lover of theatre, language, or a little Parisian flair, this promises to be a wonderfully atmospheric evening.
⚠️ As always, the 7:30pm showing is very popular and regularly sells out, so booking early is advisable! Or why not join us for the 9pm slot after grabbing a drink from the bar first?
All seats for this production have now sold out. Please Contact Us or call the Box Office (01926 856548) for waitlist / returns or for wheelchair spaces which may still be available.
