A traditional Family Pantomime

10am – Registration (parents should accompany any auditionees until 10.30am)
Rehearsals to begin mid October – some will be off-site to accommodate the November show rehearsals / performances.
Weekday rehearsals – Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 7.30pm – 10pm.
Sunday rehearsals 2pm – 5pm.

Importantly we are looking to build an exceptional TEAM! We’ll foster a company of positive, enthusiastic and keen performers and crew who want to help deliver a fab-u-lous festive treat to our patrons! Can you keep that smile going even when you’re concentrating on your lyrics and dance steps? Fairy Greenbean | Must be able to deliver script clearly in a ‘west country’ accent

Two people able to work together in close proximity! Ideally these two people will also be chorus members – lots of opportunity to be in big company numbers as well as playing Buttercup. Wish list…. Able to tap dance! |
Chorus of Villagers | You have an essential part to play in this pantomime! Your personality will shine through, your dedication and hard work will ensure we raise the roof on every performance! Involved in dialogue, singing and dance / movement throughout the show. |
Junior Chorus – please note that children must be aged 9 years or over to audition and a maximum of 10 under 18s will be cast across ensemble and principals roles.
We will use ‘Together Forever’ by Rick Astley (from the beginning to end of 1st chorus) for both singing and movement sections of the audition should you wish to do some prep in advance.

Audition format
10am – Arrival/Registration
10.30am – Singing – we will be singing as a group and principles will also be asked to sing in character
11.15am – Movement – a simple routine to the same song – (NB – we will also be collecting information on any particular dance / acrobatic skills from company members as we are keen to showcase the theatre’s talent!
12.15pm – Departure chorus
12.30pm – Principal dialogue auditions
Script sections will be provided on the day for principals. If you wish to prepare for specific roles and would like sight of the audition pieces in advance, please let us know and they can be provided.
